Mother of four Tamanika Woods was tragically shot during an altercation in Atlanta, Georgia, over a McDonald’s meal order. Two days after Christmas, 19-year-old T’Niya Evans was involved in the incident; he has subsequently been charged with aggravated assault and murder.
This brawl serves as a clear illustration of how fast disagreements may turn violent. The dispute reportedly started when Evans and her sister’s order contained missing food items. Woods unintentionally got entangled while defending a friend and employee of McDonald’s.
Evans is accused of taking out a revolver inside the restaurant and shooting Woods at close range, putting an end to the deadly quarrel. Surveillance footage from the scene showed Evans approaching and shooting Woods. Evans was quickly stopped by a fellow customer, who held her until the police could come.
The neighborhood is in shock as Evans, who is currently being jailed without bond, awaits her next court date.
