Walmart Bans New York Man for Stolen Items From Upstate New York Stores, SP

A man from New York is charged with violating his prohibition and committing crimes in Upstate New York after he was barred from ever entering a Walmart shop.

According to the New York State Police, a man from Brooklyn allegedly went to Upstate New York and stole from multiple Walmart stores.

Information that someone was stealing from several Walmart locations in Saratoga and Warren County was reported to the State Police in Troop G in August 2023.

The person was identified during the investigation as 48-year-old Brooklyn, New York, resident Delle I. Fisher. The police did not specify how the claims came up throughout the investigation.

Fisher is charged with breaking into the Walmart store in Wilton, New York, on July 26, 2023, and September 2, 2023, taking over $2,000 worth of products.

According to New York State Police, after more investigation, on August 12, 2023, Fisher allegedly broke into the Walmart in Queensbury, NY, and stole goods valued at over $3,000.

Walmart Banned a Brooklyn Man

Report from the New York State Police Fisher’s prior offenses led to a ban from all Walmart shops.

According to a press statement from the New York State Police, “He was trespassing at the time of the crimes, as he had been banned from all Walmart stores due to previous similar incidents.” “Fisher was taken into custody upon release from Rikers Island, where he was in custody on an unrelated matter.”

This Monday, New York State Police accused Fisher based on warrants for two charges of burglary, petty larceny, and grand theft in the third degree.

After that, he was sent to SP Wilton, where he was dealt with for all of the offenses. After being charged in Wilton Town Court, Fisher was placed under arrest and sent without bond to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility.
