Truro City manager Paul Wotton is seeking to bolster his squad in preparation for a demanding schedule in the upcoming weeks.
With three successive games postponed, including two at home against Dartford and Yeovil, and a trip to Welling, they now face a significant backlog.
Truro made their long-awaited return to the field on Saturday, but unfortunately suffered a 2-1 defeat against Braintree Town in the National League South.
“We need to increase our workforce,” Wotton informed BBC Radio Cornwall.
“Currently, we have a total of 16 players who are fit,” Ben Adelsbury and Billy Palfrey have sustained injuries and are expected to return to the team in the near future. However, it is evident that we require additional players to strengthen our squad.
Truro has made their first signing this month with the addition of forward Dominic Johnson-Fisher from Whitehawk, a team in the Isthmian League.

The transfer window for teams in the English Football League and Premier League is set to close this week. While this deadline doesn’t affect lower-tier teams, Wotton has been diligently working to strengthen his squad.
“It’s clear that there was no shortage of effort,” he remarked.
“Finding the right players and distinguishing them from the rest is no simple task. With numerous teams vying for talent in the league, the competition is fierce.”
“However, we will continue our efforts as we approach our final free week in the foreseeable future. It is crucial for us to urgently recruit new individuals during this limited time period.”
