Kawsheen Gelzer has been identified by investigators as the victim, according to an NBC report.
A neighbor who lives in the same building described Stines’ response to the circumstance to the New York Daily News. Germaine Roberts, Stines’ neighbor, revealed that Stines seemed upset, saying, “Oh my God, I’m going to jail.” Roberts claims that Stines was denied entry to the flat by the authorities.
It’s still unclear as of right now if Stines has gotten legal counsel or made a plea. Her next court appearance is set for Tuesday, according to jail records.
