According to the District Attorney’s office, video surveillance footage captured the moment when three individuals allegedly robbed Carter and hastily fled the scene in a gray Toyota RAV-4. Following the robbery, it was reported that Brantley discharged three rounds, resulting in Carter being struck in the head and fatally wounded.
Officials have revealed that an extended magazine and ammunition discovered at the apartment of Brantley’s girlfriend in Norristown have been linked to the shooting.
Brantley was spotted driving the RAV-4 on multiple occasions in Cheltenham, even after the car had been reported stolen on December 21, as stated in the release. Authorities have announced that additional evidence has emerged linking the three individuals to the armed robbery and tragic shooting incident.
