A Kentucky Couple Gets a Surprise Visitor Before Mother’s Day

LEXINGTON, Kentucky — On Mother’s Day, a mom in Kentucky unexpectedly gave birth to a baby. This story is something that Dad will always remember.

Brooke Canady, who was 37 weeks pregnant, says she didn’t go to work on Wednesday because she felt unwell. On the same day, she had to go to the doctor later.

Brooke and her husband Jeff were going to the hospital when they encountered something unusual. Little Truett Wesley Canady was born while Jeff was waiting at a red light on Nicholasville Road, on his way to the hospital.

Brooke said that she saw him come out, but she didn’t mention it. “He was driving very recklessly, and I saw him first with his head, then his small shoulders, and finally his little arms reaching up.” I held the baby against my chest while we arrived at the valet. The person parking the truck didn’t realise that I had the baby with me and looked at me in shock, as if they had seen a ghost.

Amidst all the confusion and joy, Brooke gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Truett Wesley Canady. He weighed 7 pounds and 8 ounces, and he was 19 inches tall.
