Two hospitals in Central Jersey have been recognized as some of the best in the United States, with two others also ranking in the top 250.

Two New Jersey hospitals, Overlook Medical Center in Summit and Morristown Medical Center, have been recognized in the prestigious Top 50 list, which was recently released by Healthgrades. Healthgrades is a trusted online resource that provides transparent research to help individuals find medical providers and conveniently schedule appointments.

Two hospitals, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville and Penn Medicine Princeton Health in Plainsboro, have been recognized in the Top 250.

Several hospitals in Central Jersey have been recognized for their excellence in specialty care areas. Overlook has been recognized as one of the top hospitals in multiple categories, including Critical Care, Gastrointestinal Care, Gastrointestinal Surgery, and Stroke Care. Penn Medicine Princeton Health has been recognized for its exceptional performance in various areas of healthcare. It has been named one of the 100 Best Hospitals for Critical Care and Pulmonary Care. Additionally, it has received recognition for its excellence in Cranial Neurosurgery and Neurosciences.

JFK University Medical Center in Edison has been honored as one of the top 100 hospitals for stroke care. Additionally, it has received recognition for its exceptional performance in bariatric surgery, cranial neurosurgery, and neurosciences.

Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township has been recognized for its outstanding performance in Joint Replacement. Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick has been recognized for its outstanding performance in Bariatric Surgery.
