3 dead in shooting at Arlington apartment complex, Authorities say

ARLINGTON — Authorities in Arlington, Texas have reported that three individuals were discovered deceased following a shooting incident at an apartment complex on Thursday evening.

The Arlington police have confirmed that a shooting incident occurred on the south side of the city at approximately 8:30 p.m. local time.

A witness has contacted emergency services, reporting that they heard a sound. Upon investigation, a man was discovered lying unresponsive outside an apartment. According to a witness, the door to the apartment was forcibly kicked open.

A man with a gunshot wound was discovered by officers at the 3500 block of Chatham Green Lane. Two additional individuals were discovered in the apartment, both of whom had sustained gunshot injuries.

According to authorities, two children were present at the apartment. The individuals involved in the incident were fortunate to have escaped without any injuries. They have now been discharged and reunited with their family members.

The police have not yet released the identities of the victims, nor have they provided any details regarding the events leading up to the shooting or a potential motive.

According to authorities, no arrests have been made at this time. According to eyewitnesses, a man was seen fleeing from the location, as reported to the police.
