Solenté will be a gated, master-planned, luxury community in a rapidly growing part of Washington City. The community was built with sustainability and harmony with nature in mind.
In his speech at the Washington County Economic Summit, he talked about the new neighborhood called Solenté. Solenté was mentioned by Washington City Mayor Kress Staheli as an example of a very good public-private relationship going on in the city.
Solenté is in Washington City, just north of I-15 exit 13. The neighborhood is close to Green Springs, which makes it easy to get to services, but it is also tucked away in the red rock hills, giving residents the peace and quiet they would expect from a high-end neighborhood.
It is being built by GWC Capital and Blue Diamond Capital on 570 acres of Utah Trust Lands. These are the same people who made Desert Color happen in southern Utah.
Sand and Desert Color are not the same, even though they come from the same place. Desert Color is a resort-style community with something for everyone. Solenté, on the other hand, will be a private, closed community with a focus on custom club experiences. In the future, Solenté will have private estate, community games, resort homes, and a high-end resort hotel.
There will be 2,200 homes in the neighborhood, such as custom estate homes, townhomes, condos, resort villas, and casitas. Access to famous trailheads for hiking, biking, and horseback riding that show off the best of high desert life is another thing that makes Solenté stand out.

The design, architecture, infrastructure, technology, and general land plan of the community all work with and protect the environment and natural surroundings. They will also encourage a healthy, active, and environmentally friendly lifestyle for the 21st century.
A ceremony to break ground was held on November 28, 2023, near the intersection of Main Street and the Washington Parkway. It was attended by people from GWC Capital, the Washington City Council, the Washington Area Chamber of Commerce, the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce, state lawmakers, and local real estate agents.
The Millcreek Trailhead, the Dino Cliffs Trailhead, and the Grapevine Trailhead will be fully redone as work goes on. They will now have parking, water stations, bike repair tools, and more. GWC Capital, Washington City, and the Utah Trust Lands Administration have worked together to protect the paths and make them easier for people to use.
People will still be able to use the trails while they are being built, but as needed, safe access ways will be added to make sure everyone can still get to them.
