At first glance, the picture appears to show nothing more than a large formation of dark, rugged rock surrounded by trees. But somewhere among all those shadows, cracks, and uneven surfaces, a girl is hiding in plain sight\u2014and finding her is much harder than most people expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The trick is that she isn’t standing out against the landscape. Her clothing blends almost perfectly with the gray and black tones of the rock, while the irregular surface breaks up the outline of her body. Instead of searching for an entire person, the easiest way to solve the puzzle is to look carefully for a small human shape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Focus your attention near the upper-middle portion of the rocky formation<\/strong>. Just below the highest ridge, slightly left of the center, there is a small figure positioned against the dark rock. Her size and the surrounding shadows make her surprisingly easy to overlook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once you identify her position, the illusion suddenly disappears. What previously looked like another dark patch in the stone begins to resemble a person, and afterward it becomes difficult not to see her. It’s a perfect example of how easily the brain can overlook familiar shapes when they blend into a complicated background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So yes, there really is someone hidden among the rocks. The answer isn’t at the bottom or concealed behind the trees\u2014the girl is camouflaged against the rocky area near the upper center of the scene.
