KIEV, Ukraine — U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry told Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko on Friday that Washington was hoping to see a ceasefire in eastern Ukraine “soon,” but that the Minsk agreements were the only way to solve the conflict.
