After returning home from a trip, I headed straight for a shower. Everything seemed completely normal until I noticed a tiny, odd-looking object on the bathroom floor. It had a soft pink center with two sharp, dark points sticking out, and the more I looked at it, the stranger it seemed. I picked it up with a tissue, convinced it had to be something unusual.

What first looked like something frightening turned out to be a perfectly ordinary part of a cat’s natural claw-shedding process. It’s one of those discoveries that can seem mysterious until you learn the simple explanation behind it.
