…woman didn’t steal anything. I accidentally dropped a makeup item into her shopping bag while I was in line behind her.”

Everyone went quiet. The woman looked completely stunned.

The teen held up a small mascara tube. “It slipped out of my hand when I was grabbing my wallet, and I didn’t even notice until just now.”

Security checked the receipt, confirmed the woman only paid for the skirt, and scanned the mascara. The alarm beeped again — it was the missing item.

The poor woman was nearly in tears, thanking the teen over and over.
