Central Oklahoma on Alert as Tornado Sirens Wail Amid Approaching Supercell

On Monday, May 6, when a supercell was forming over central Oklahoma, tornado sirens started to sound. This was done because the region was expecting very bad weather.

Hennessy is a place in Kingfisher County. Storm chaser Matt Phelps captured a video clip there, showing dark clouds and lightning moving closer.

According to reports from the local news networks, the storm caused damage to at least one home and one barn in the county. It also knocked down electricity poles.

On the same day, a very strong EF-4 tornado hit the northeastern area of Oklahoma and caused loss of life. The tornado, which was travelling at speeds of up to 175 miles per hour, caused the death of one person.

There have been a series of severe storms in Oklahoma that caused deaths and left many communities in chaos. After the devastating storms, including a powerful EF-4 tornado that destroyed around seventy homes near Barnsdall, Oklahoma on Monday night, families are now focused on rebuilding their homes.

Meteorologists have determined that a weak EF-0 tornado caused strong winds that damaged a two-story barn in Harvard. Unfortunately, this resulted in the deaths of at least four animals and trapped many more inside.

The video from Tuesday, May 7, shows that a tornado with winds of 85 miles per hour caused a lot of damage to parts of Indiana.

The tornado was given a rating of EF-0 by the National Weather Service (NWS), and it caused significant damage to several homes, according to reports from the area.

These pictures were taken by a drone on Wednesday and they show what happened after a tornado hit the Sellersburg area. Sellersburg is located to the north of Louisville, Kentucky. You can see blue tarps covering the roofs of many of the houses.

The National Weather Service (NWS) predicted that the region would experience more storms until Wednesday night.
